Microneedling is an effective new tool that is minimally invasive the help naturally rejuvenate skin. This procedure lights and tightens skin while also improving upon the texture as well as scars for people of all ages. This, in conjunction with PRP treatments, will bring you smoother and younger skin without the downtime of cosmetic surgery. We only use clean PRP, meaning there are no chemicals or additives.
Microneedling is used to activate cellular regeneration, which helps tighten and lift the skin. It can also improve the texture of the skin and minimize scars and fine lines.
Microneedling quickly creates patterns of extremely small channels in the area being treated. These channels increase the production of collagen and elastin, which leaves the skin smoother and more uniform. Opening up these channels also increases the skin’s ability to absorb medical grade topicals when applied during or after treatment.
Microneedling is not a particularly aggressive treatment. Because of this, you will need to come in for multiple treatments over the course of three to six months. The procedure itself takes about one hour in our office.
